Sakho Situation At Liverpool ‘Not Positive’ – Klopp

Jurgen Klopp refused to openly discuss defender Mamadou Sakho’s recent comments but did admit that the situation is not a “positive” one.
Sakho reportedly posted on social media on Friday night to voice his frustration at being frozen out by Klopp, having not featured for the Reds at all this season.
The Frenchman is well down the pecking order at Anfield after going against Liverpool’s wishes when he rejected multiple opportunities to leave the club on loan in the summer.
Klopp wanted Sakho to depart Anfield on a temporary basis in order to get his career back on track after he was suspended by UEFA for failing a drugs test before later being cleared. The central defender was also sent home from the preseason tour to the United States for disciplinary issues.

However, speaking at news conference after his side’s 5-1 victory of Hull City, Klopp said it was not the “right moment” for him to talk about Sakho.
“Somebody told me this morning that [there was] something I should know about,” Klopp said. “On a matchday I’m in a completely wrong mood to think about things like this.
“But it’s not the right moment to speak about [this] because I think most of the time in life it makes sense to think about something and then it’s more likely that you can give the right answer. It’s not positive, I would say.
“I think I address the situation when it’s the right moment, and I didn’t decide when that is — it’s not Christmas.”
